The re-named Roux at The Landau sees father and son Albert and Michel Roux Jr working together for the first time in 18 years, bringing the Roux’s legendary culinary expertise and creativity to their second West End address. Roux protégé Chris King has been chosen as Chef de Cuisine after a 5-year apprenticeship at Le Gavroche. The menus reflect the Roux trademark style of classically constructed French dishes, blended with modern tastes for lighter choices. With dramatic décor, the elegant and gilded interior of the restaurant is the creation of acclaimed designer David Collins. The superb contemporary French cuisine blends the finest seasonal British ingredients to create some delicious innovations in an environment where Provenance is key; ingredients include Bermondsey honey, British charcuterie and yoghurt from France.
